Field Museum, home to giant T-Rex in Chicago

Since 1893, the Field Museum in Chicago has housed exhibits from the famed World's Columbian Exposition. We took what I'd call the "short" tour of the Field Museum, which means we spent five hours and still hurried through some exhibits.
Visit with Sue at the Field Museum
Sue the T-Rex is THE star of the show but there is much much more to be seen. With a collection of over twenty million specimens today, Daniel Burnham, designer of the 1893 World's Columbian Exposition would be proud. Read about our feature on the Field Museum.
We visit the Windy City up close
When visiting Chicago, consider staying at the Best Western River North. Free parking, plus within walking distance to several Chicago attractions.
