Chicago is a great place for anyone who craves a taste of the big city life. For our visit we chose to stay near the attractions at the Best Western River North. What a great decision!

We were greeted by a friendly staff that went out of the way to make our stay enjoyable. One of the best features at River North is free parking! This is an incredible perk. On our first day in the city we visited several museums. Parking charged ranged from $14 to $26. Other hotels charge parking fees sometimes exceeding $50 per night. If we had only realized then how easy Chicago is to get around we would have left the car in River North's free lot and taken the subway!

Our suite was very roomy and comfortable with two bedrooms, a living room with sleeper sofa, bath, and kitchenette complete with refrigerator.

Free high speed internet is standard. Room service is available as well so you never have to leave your room. No chance of that with our bunch. We're always on the move. A favorite spot was the rooftop pool. There is also a fitness room and a rooftop deck which offers beautiful views of the city.

Hungry? You don't have to go far. River North's own Pizzeria Ora offers casual dining, and offers real, deep dish Chicago style pizza. Besides pizza, across the street you'll find the Hard Rock Cafe, ESPN Zone, and the Rainforest Cafe. We loved Portillos, the best place to pick up authentic Chicago hot dogs, and Italian or Polish sausage sandwiches. They also have a fantastic burger and sidewalk dining.
