Feature Accommodations - Bed & Breakfasts of Galveston, Texas
by Carl Burnham

Each member Galveston bed and breakfast inn is unique in their own right, and are a credit to their owners in helping to promote local tourism and preserve the highly unique heritage of Galveston. To accomodate guests departing on cruises, most of the bed & breakfasts provide free cruise ship parking when staying the night.

We stayed at the following bed & breakfasts and feature special segments on each:

Grace Manor

The Garden Inn
The Queen Anne
Inn at 1816 Postoffice
Avenue O B&B
Coppersmith Inn
The Villa B&B
Lost Bayou B&B

The bed & breakfasts which we highlight for our visits were built from 1886 to 1914, and are located in several Historical Districts. This area includes the most extensive collection of Victorian houses in the country, several which survived the Great Storm of 1900.

We would like to thank the Galveston Bed & Breakfast Association for assistance with our features and accomodating us.

Take your time, relax, and explore the many attractions and things to do on the islands. Be sure to read our special feature segments on Galveston.
