Entertaining Family Show with an Old Western Flavor

by Carl Burnham

Featured at Jellystone Park is a downhome Texas BBQ meal followed by the talented English Brothers. Complete with guitar, banjo, mandolin, and bass instrumentals, the English Brothers play an entertaining range of classic Western tunes that the whole family will love.

The English Brothers are really brothers, and each is multi-talented, telling stories, jokes, and playing up to the audience as they sing a wide range of popular Western tunes.

Bring your appetite for the Chuckwagon Supper at the Canyon Trail show
Chuckwagon Supper
After meeting the brothers, we sat down to watch an old John Wayne western, soon followed by a generous serving of our Chuckwagon Supper.

Bring your appetite, as the meal comes with a delicious serving of Texas smoked beef brisket, Wrangler beans, potato, tortillas, coffee or lemonade, and cake.

The English Brothers provide an entertaining weekly cowboy show at Jellystone Park, with Texas supper and fun for the whole family

Situated on 28 acres of oak trees, the Jellystone Hill Country Park is sure to please the whole family. From viewing the calendar of events, the camper or lodge guest can choose from a wide range of weekly events at the campground, in addition to flavors and sounds of the old West at the Canyon Trail Chuckwagon Supper & Cowboy Music Show.
 beautiful sunset at Canyon Lake
Canyon Lake is a manmade lake, built in 1960, which provides lots of fishing and water fun. While visiting, we saw the largest cigarette boat we've ever seen parked there. Just a 1/2 mile from the park in the other direction is the Guadalupe River where we saw many tubers enjoy floating down the river. A shuttle is available to pick up and drop off from the park for tubers. The Guadalupe is also a favorite for fishing, canoeing, or kayaking.
