Situated in the downtown area overlooking the Corpus Christi Bay, the Omni Bayfront Tower Hotel provides a relaxing stay while exploring the Bay area and surrounding islands.

As part of the luxury chain of hotels, the Omni Bayfront Tower includes a total of 475 guest rooms and suites. All of the guest rooms in the AAA four-diamond rated hotel include cherry wood furniture, with comfortable chairs and decorative artwork. The Omni also operates a sister hotel in the area, the Omni Marina Towers.

Our suite was one of 12 large Bayview guest rooms with expansive views of the Corpus Christi Bay. Bayview rooms are located on the corners, which include three private walkout balconies. Our room on the 14th floor offered panoramic views of downtown, the Bay, and the marina. We could also see the USS Lexington in the distance. Our room was appointed with a large living room area with couch, chairs, and cable television. The kitchen area included a small refrigerator, sink, microwave, and coffee maker with coffee and tea.

Our large bedroom came with a plush king-sized bed with oversized pillows, cable television, radio, oversized safe for valuables(large enough to accommodate a laptop), and clothes valet stand. Two large closets included hotel bath robes which are available for purchase. Next to our bedroom was a work desk and chair. The bathroom included a Moen hydrotherapy shower. The hotel includes wireless internet, although some rooms may require a bridge from the front desk in order to access. We were able to easily connect from the public areas near the lobby.

The standard-sized rooms are the Deluxe Rooms, which include a private balcony and either two double beds or one large king bed.

The Omni Bayfront has several other suite sizes available, and has recently introduced Get Fit Guest Rooms, complete with a Get Fit Kit (includes free weights, floor mat, elastic bands and instructions), motorized portable treadmill, and healthy snacks.

There are also larger suites available, the largest being the 1,617-square-foot Presidential Suite on the 18th floor, which provides awesome Bay views from four balconies.

There are many amenities to enjoy, including two ultra-modern fitness centers (with nearby locker rooms and change areas), two indoor raquetball courts, an outdoor heated pool, a baby pool, whirlpool, dry sauna, foosball, air hockey, restaurants (where kids can eat free with the leisure rate), bar, beauty salon, a massage therapist, and boutique shops (view our video near the top of the page to see more images).

If looking for choice steak and seafood, head for the Republic of Texas Restaurant on the top floor. The Glass Pavilion Restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. Every morning, The Espressimo Room offers up pastries and a range of coffees.

The hotel has 24 large meeting rooms available for conventions and meetings, plus a 10,050-square-foot ballroom.

Pets can stay if under 25 lbs. (with a $50 non-refundable fee). For those wanting to explore the downtown or Bay areas, bicycles can be rented. A local and national newspaper are delivered to your room daily. Free covered parking is available in the large multi-level parking garage. Free shuttle service is provided to the airport.
