Magnolia Hotels - Stylish Stays in Historic Surroundings
by Carl Burnham
Headquartered in the mile high city of Denver, Magnolia Hotels is a hotel management company with the high goal of breathing new life into historic buildings as boutique hotels. The formula has worked well, with hotels in downtown Denver, Dallas, Houston, and Omaha.
Beginning as an investment partnership by Steve Holtze in 1993, the first landmark to be transformed was in Denver, an 85 year old building that originally housed the American National Bank.
Now a hotel management company, the Magnolia Hotels have several unique hotels that do an admirable job of helping to preserve the historic character of the cities they occupy.
