Several enhancements have been made to the campground since our last
visit several years ago in our RV. There is plenty to do while in
Shreveport, making it a perfect stop during your travels. Try your luck
at one of the riverboat casinos, horseracing at Louisiana Downs, or
enjoy some Southern cooking at one of many fine restaurants. Visit some
of the many historic landmarks around the city, 2nd only to New Orleans
in the state. An extensive collection of Frederic Remington’s paintings
are housed at the R.W. Norton Art Gallery. The American Rose Center is
here, which is the largest rose park in the country.
