Upcoming visit along the border to Del Rio and San Antonio

Coming up later this month we visit the border town of Del Rio and the Villa Del Rio B&B. Many western movies have been made here near where Judge Roy Bean laid down the law, including The Alamo with John Wayne. In fact, the Alamo Villiage set is noted as being the largest and most complete outdoor movie set in the country. The fun city of Acuña, Mexico is only a 3 minute drive away, and offers lots of bargains and treats for tourists.

We have been to San Antonio several times over the years. From the Riverwalk, the Alamo, the historic sites, museums, and great Tex-Mex food, this dynamic city will be the focus of a new segment from our upcoming visit.
