Located just north of Dallas in Plano, the Southfork Hotel offers understated elegance and a relaxing stay, yet conveniently located
near the North Central Expressway. The hotel is equiped with 17 meeting rooms and over 17,000 square feet of space available for conferences and events.
The hotel includes 280 spacious guest rooms that are all tastefully appointed with wall paintings, sitting furniture, desk, voicemail, cable television (with pay-per-view movies available), plus high speed wireless Internet access in all rooms. Standard features of all rooms include hair dryer, iron, ironing board, and coffee maker. Twelve larger rooms are available for families and groups.
The grounds are well maintained, with walk-ways, outdoor swimming pool, and whirlpool (open till 10 p.m.) to relax in after taking in a workout at the hotel's modern indoor fitness center.
The front desk provides a complementary newspaper and is just across from a spacious lobby bar and lounge, with recessed lighting and comfortable seating.
Remington's Restaurant serves up delicious meals in a relaxing atmosphere. We recommend the club sandwich for lunch. Scenes from the Dallas the TV series adorn the walls, providing an interesting addition to your dining experience.
Be sure to browse the store which is stocked with a select choice of Texas souvenirs and Dallas the TV series memorabilia. If you are a fan like I am, a visit to Southfork Ranch (sister property to the hotel) is a must see for a glimpse into the Ewing empire of power and prestige. For those without their computer laptop, you can check your email next door, which include two computer workstations. High speed wireless Internet access is included in all public places. The meeting rooms all have hard wired high speed Internet access as well.
 Free shuttle service is provided to the Southfork Ranch (just 8 miles up the road) and to locations which are 3 miles around the hotel (including Collin Creek Mall).
